Assisting the Youth Pastor with planning, budget, staff, teaching and mentoring of students. Additionally overseeing the budget management for the NYI ministry as well as chairing the NYI council.

Prayer Coordinator

Leads and directs the prayer ministry for NewportNaz. Leads the daily morning prayer team as well as working to develop prayer teams for each weekly activity at NewportNaz.

Tim Folkerts
Finance Committee

Oversees the yearly operational budget. The Finance Chair and Team work with each department head in developing an operational budget. Also oversees the budget progress throughout the year and adjusts department funds accordingly throughout the year.

Kim Haddon
Children’s Ministries

Oversight of the Children’s Ministry, this encompasses all children from infant to 6th grade. Chairman of the Children’s Council, which includes a representative from each department within the Children’s Ministry, represent the Children's Ministry needs to the Board of Directors, help the staff with ideas, responsible for the budget and how it is allocated on a monthly basis.

Conduct Mission Council meetings, send council minutes to Board, plan mission night, Faith Promise event including coordination of speaker and offering, raise monies for Work and Witness projects through Thanksgiving and Easter offerings, raise money for Work and Witness Scholarship fund and raise funds for local mission projects.

George Partridge
Financial Resources

To oversee the Church’s efforts to raise its needed income to meet the agreed upon budget generated by the Budget Team. In addition, the Resource Team is responsible for educating the congregation on the needs of the local church as well as educating and communicating to the congregation the philosophy of giving here at NewportNaz.

Deneann Gillette
Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care team works directly with the pastoral team at NewportNaz. Specifically, they oversee all forms of compensation and expressions of appreciation. In addition, this team will work with the Senior Pastor in creating job descriptions and responsibilities for the pastoral team.

Linda Brazel
Christian Life Director

Chairs the Christian Life committee. This committee is the umbrella for many committees, ie: Men, Women’s, Education, Congressional Care, etc.

Adam Denlinger
Board Chairman

Duties include running the board meetings; collect, preview, and edit all committee reports then email reports to board members; assemble the meeting agenda; check the board minutes when the secretary is not available; check-in with committee heads.

Rich Wanke
New Construction

Work with other department and committee heads to examine campus impact and feasibility of future large facility projects and to serve as a direct liaison for the board and project managers on a monthly basis. Reports to include general status of special projects, scheduling, finances, and projected phase and/or final project costs. Work with project managers to coordinate and facilitate man-power, equipment, and material needs for given special projects.

Pete Reynolds
Facilities & Transportation

Maintain Church vehicles, purchase and dispose of vehicles, driver training , proper license and insurance. The campus at NewportNaz requires a very focused attention on maintenance. Oversees the care and upkeep of the NewportNaz campus.

Cheri Shafer
Worship Ministries

Leads the Worship Committee in reviewing ministry needs of the worship team. This committee monitors the needs of the worship and sound personnel who volunteer in this ministry. Oversight is provided for the allocation of budget monies and to facilitate requests from Pastor Ed and the Worship committee to the board.

Human Resources

Duties include keeping the NewportNaz Policy Manual up to date and available, including the creation of new policy as needed.
