Felecia Todd has joined our team to co-pastor children’s ministries here at Newport Naz.  Felecia moved to the coast in 1996 and shortly thereafter accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.  Felecia has often said that it took God moving her to the “edge” (coast) in order for her to take notice of Him.  Her favorite verse since salvation is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”  Later verses talk about seeking God and finding Him.  It is her desire to continually seek after God.

Felecia has served 14 years in the church with children, youth and missions.  In 1998, she spent 8 months volunteering with Nazarene missionaries in Ukraine.  It was here that she discovered her love to serve others in Christ. 

She is now married to Travis Todd.  In his proposal he talked about a “great adventure”.  Marriage and parenting with all its challenges and blessings have been a great adventure.  They have two young children, Claire and Ethan, who make up a big part of this journey.

Felecia holds a bachelor’s degree in community health education and is pursuing classes toward a district pastors’ license, which she hopes to have by next year.
