Rev. Andy Albright
Pastor Andy Albright has been lead pastor since 2013. Prior to coming to Newport he served in Westminster, Colorado and La Junta, Colorado. Pastor Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived there until his family relocated to Denver, Colorado. Andy accepted Jesus at a young age, and felt the Lord stirring in his heart during his teen years regarding a call into ministry. Andy finally accepted the call after completing his first year of teaching Junior High English in the summer of 2004.
Andy married his best friend Sarah in 2003 and they have two sons David (age 8) and Aaron (age 6). As a family they enjoy going out to eat, playing at the park, and just being together. Andy & Sarah share a call to ministry focused on reaching the lost, helping people enter into a life of holiness, and challenging people to live faith filled lives of service and love. The Lord has blessed them with some great days in the last 11 years of their ministry and they are looking forward to what He has in store for them in the days ahead.

She enjoys the outdoors, laughter, and dark chocolate. She looks forward to serving and working with the families of NewportNaz.
Pastor Jarrod Anderson
Jarrod Anderson joined the team at NewportNaz in January 2015. Previously, Jarrod has worked as a children's pastor. Both his parents and grandparents went to Northwest Nazarene University where he also received his Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry. Jarrod's passion is for the inclusion of all people in the love and relationship available with Christ.
He was born in Wheatridge, Colorado and raised in Arvada. He has an identical twin and older brother. He is a photographer and loves the outdoors. Jarrod has known God from an early age and received his call into ministry at the age of 16. His two greatest loves are for God and his wife, Ashley.
Jarrod and Ashley were recently married in 2015. They have been called as a couple to both become ordained ministers in the Church of the Nazarene and to serve in the capacity that God leads. They have hopes to one day become Co-senior Pastors of a church. Jarrod hopes to begin his master's program and is currently in the process of Ordination.
Ashley Anderson is a short, spontaneous and energized young woman of God who has just recently started her ministry. At the age of 18, Ashley received a call into ministry and began her studies at Northwest Nazarene University. After one year of college, she went to help at a Nazarene coffee shop in Sweden and Copenhagen where she lived for 3 months. There she met Jarrod. They felt a call to move to Newport where they were married and began their ministry. Valentine’s Day 2015 she and Jarrod were married.
She was born in The Dalles, Oregon while her father was a pastor in Arlington. Her growing up years were split between Oregon and Idaho. While growing up in Idaho, she fell in love with two things in particular: God and Theater. She worked as an apprentice at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival while preparing for college. At first, Ashley genuinely thought God wanted her to be an actor and director to eventually open a community theatre that focused on educating children in the theatrical arts for free, but God had other plans.
Ashley loves paleontology and history. She has also been a barista for many years and loves to share a cup of coffee over great conversation if given the chance. The Andersons love the outdoors while taking pictures and enjoying God's creation! They are both excited for the future of ministry that God has for them in the years to come!
